"During my challenge, I took Isoplex, Wheyplex, Xenoplex, Vanylplex, and Jointplex. I started out drinking a soy-based protein shake. But once I tried Iso, I was hooked. I noticed a huge difference taking in all that protein after a work out without all the carbs I was getting from soy. Of all the products I took, I am most impressed with Jointplex. I went to my chiropractor and he said that it was the best adjustment I had since I was his patient. In addition, I have had virtually no problems with running, biking, and lifting. "The Xenoplex 90-Day Challenge has not only challenged me physically, but mentally as well. I have learned that I can do anything I set my mind to. Due to my family history of obesity, my weight has been a constant battle all my life. Eating right and exercising have been my solution. I have maintained a steady weight most of my life but I have never been in what I could call "great shape." I decided to enter the Xenoplex 90-Day Challenge to test my physical ability. With daily intake of D&A's Multiplex vitamins, one D&A smoothie per day along with a monitored diet, 5 days of the week of exercise which includes cardio and strength training, I have been able to transform fat to muscle. "On May 28, 2002 I suffered an ankle injury that totally changed my summer activities. On June 6th, I accepted the Xenoplex challenge. I was not going to let an injury cause me to slack off and get out of shape. At the time I took my before photos I weighed 188 pounds, along with 14% bodyfat. When I saw my photos I realized I had already been slacking and was out of shape. I could in no way show those pictures to anyone and justify being in shape. I started the training program as prescribed in the rules and regulations manual. My strength had gone up significantly due to the nutrition and supplementation program. At the end of the 90 days, my body had transformed. I was now 182 pounds and only 7% bodyfat. I had lost 14 pounds of fat and gained 8 pounds of muscle. My body composition had changed by 22 pounds. "Part of the whole college experience is gaining the inevitable "freshman 15." For me, the "freshman 15" turned out to be freshman and sophomore 30 as I was forced into eating greasy dorm food instead of the nutritious meals my mom made at home. Prior to leaving for college, I was a competitive swimmer and trained about 6 hours a day, 6 days a week. But after having shoulder surgery, my surgeon warned me that doing physical activity, even running, put me at risk for tearing everything that he repaired. So on piled the weight. The days of 6-hour workouts had long since passed and my body started to take a shape that I never thought it would.
At the same time I began working out again, I heard about the 90-Day Challenge. I figured I had nothing to lose... except the extra weight I had gained due to poor eating and workout habits. With the help of D&A and the 90-Day Challenge, I was easily able to change my bad habits and lose those extra pounds. The Challenge was exactly what I needed. And although it was indeed a challenge, I learned a great deal about how to take care of my body, and I am still continuously losing weight. I enjoyed doing the 90-Day Challenge and appreciated the help of the staff at D&A so much, that I decided to do the next Challenge as well. D&A keeps me excited about what my body's potential is, and I have faith that after I am done with this next Challenge, I will be able to continue good eating and workout habits. Even then I still didn't see the results I was looking for, until I started the 90 Day Challenge and began to use D&A's supplements and products. "My 90-Day Challenge began in late November 2001 and continued through February 2002. At the beginning I thought that 90 days was so far away, that I would never get there. I immediately began the challenge working out hard and using a variety of the D&A products. The nutritional expert at D&A suggested that I needed to bulk-up in the beginning and then to shred the body fat down in the final 8 weeks. I started the first month with Massplex, Glutaplex, Xenoplex, Multiplex, and Androplex. All of these products worked awesome. I had a great supply of energy and vitamins, my muscles recovered quickly, and I began to get stronger and bigger. By the end of December, I had really seen an increase in the size of my shoulders, legs, chest and arms. With 60 days to go, I was excited. I finished the Massplex and switched to Isoplex. This provided a great supply of protein without the excess carbohydrates, which helped me prepare for the shred phase. I also continued taking the Xenoplex and Multiplex. With 30 days left, I could really see my muscles beginning to stand out. My friends and co-workers began to approach and ask what I was doing and how they could get the same results. That felt great and I told them it's as easy as D&A. Besides getting stronger and into great shape, this challenge has taught me how to lift weights in a proper manner and it has showed me how to balance my diet and eat nutritionally. "Before the 90-Day Challenge I was considered to be in good shape, but I was really looking to get into better shape through supplementation. I busted my butt over the 90 days on the challenge, eating healthy, not drinking alcohol, and supplementing my workouts with D&A products. Over the first 60 days I bulked up by spending long hours in the gym and taking Androtest 19, Creaplex, and Wheyplex. The final 30 days, I got up every morning at 6:30 and ran 2-3 miles, in addition to my regular workout, to lose any excess fat. I also took Xenoplex and limited my calories from fat. In total, I dropped from 12.5% to 7.9% body ft. I also gained 5 pounds overall, which represents over 12 pounds of muscle gained and more than 7 pounds of fat lost. "I have been thin all of my life and when D&A Nutrition came to my apartment complex one day for a free nutrition assessment, I was sure I had a good figure and minimal body fat. To my surprise, when I was given the body fat assessment it was a much higher percentage than what I had expected. So I decided to join the 90-Day Challenge and immediately I felt motivated to journey to the gym four to five days a week. I completely eliminated fast food from my diet and cut back on drinking beers. After two months of following the D& Nutritionist's diet plan, I was thrilled when my body fat had nearly cut in half! So I started going to the gym six days a week and focused on gaining muscle. Now that the 90 days are up, I am baffled at the lifestyle I used to have.
